FOOD:  Replinish food as needed.  I keep food in cages at ALL times.

For a Lovebird pair, in one bowl - 4 tablespoons of Cockatiel Seed and 4 tablespoons Canary Seed.

In the other bowl - 1/2 cup Black Oil Sunflower seeds, 2 tablespoons Pellets.  Most brands carry a Breeder formula - has extra vitamins, you may have to special order this from your local pet source.  Then add 1 tablespoon baked birdie bread (recipe follows) that has bee pollen (prefer powder but granules will do), Petamine and Spirulina * added to the baked ingredients.   Keep unused birdie bread frozen and serve frozen.

Store any unused food in freezer - which minimizes spoilage and bugs.  Just layer the different kinds of food in a bowl - the birds sort out what they like just fine.
